So thank you everyone for your support during this challenging (especially that first night) transition. And thank you to my husband for waiting for me to be ready for Kaylee to sleep in her crib.

Sleep Training ... So Far, So Good
We've made it, over a week of this sleep training business. Our routine is bath, pj's, good-nights, and then Kaylee and I will sit in the nursery and read books before our night nurse. If she fussy, we'll just skip the books and go right to the night nurse. I've been able to lay her in the crib awake but sleepy, with very little protest. I think Kaylee has accepted her crib as her place to fall asleep. And she is doing a great job at settling back down when she awakens at night. We still bring her into our bed if she wakes up during the early morning, usually around 5am. But in time she'll stay in her crib all night/morning. In a week or so I'll start on the naps in the crib. Right now she nurses and falls asleep. And I usually nap right next to her!
