20-months!

January Summary:
~ Kaylee was awake at midnight to welcome 2011.
~ Started to spend time away from Mommy @ the YMCA daycare.
~ Participated in open gym @ the Y gymnastics, and loved it!
~ Became a Scripps Aquarium member.
~ Flew up to Salinas for a week long visit.
~ Visited Lover's Point, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
~ Almost got her first haircut, but Mommy and Daddy were not ready for it.

She'll try to say almost any word if you ask her, she is improving her pronunciation on almost all of her words, and really is trying to conquer the second syllable of words.  She can identify and say numbers 1-9, and almost every letter of the alphabet.  When we are out and about she'll find letters and numbers on signs and passing trucks.

~ She is leaving the ground when she jumps.

~ She walks on her tip toes
~ Wants to climb the tree in my grandparents backyard

Things that make her Curtis's daughter:
~ drools when she sleeps
~ doesn't like things on her hands

Stats:
~ 20lbs, unofficially
~ definitely getting taller and her head is getting bigger
~ size 3, almost 4 diapers
~ size 18m shirts, 12m pants (but those are starting to get short in the leg)

Birthday:

So her birthday is 4 months away, but family and friends are already talking about it.  There are no details as of yet, but if you are planning on attending please let us know.
