Christmas Ideas for Kaylee

Kaylee is one blessed little girl.  She has everything she needs and almost everything she wants.  So for Christmas we would like to request a limit on gifts.  Our suggestion is one special gift from you and if you wanted to buy more stuff, then that money could be deposited into her college savings fund.  As of right now Kaylee has a basic savings account.  We are currently researching 529 plans and other types of savings accounts.

I know this sounds kind of bah' humbugish.  I understand the urge to want to buy everything for her, but we look into our financial future and it is scary to think about the cost of a college education for one kid, let alone some day a second child.  So we request one special and meaningful gift from you, a gift that we often remind Kaylee who she received it from, and an optional deposit into her savings account.

Here are some ideas if you need them:

~ Clothes size 24m/2T.  Kaylee can wear 2T shirts, it is the pants that we have trouble with.  She is at a 24m length but there is no way she can fit a 24m waist.  So pants with an adjustable waist would be great, and the skinny or lean jeans if that is an option.

~ Accessories: hair clips, belts, socks, underwear, hats

~ Legos

~ Thomas the Train wood train toys

~ Anything with animals

~ Calico Critters (little animal families that have doll-house type houses.  Kaylee isn't into dolls, but she loves these animals)

~ Books and anything educational (Kaylee is one smart little girl an we want to continue to expose her to all types of information).

~ Characters and shows she like: Mickey Mouse and the whole gang, Dora and Diego, Angelina Ballerina, Tangled, Hello Kitty, Umizoomi, Juno Jr., Jake and the Neverland Pirates, .

Notice no princesses or barbies, at least not yet.

And here are some specific request from Kaylee:
~ purple bedding
~ Angelina Ballerina stuffed doll (it is a mouse in a tutu)
~ Bathrobe with duck theme
