It took over 3-hours to open all the presents. Kaylee was very interested in opening presents, even presents that weren't hers. But she also wanted to play with the toy right away, so that slowed down the process. Kaylee was very unexcited for her new clothing, except for her pink Cowboy jersey. She insisted on wearing the jersey. Every other article of clothing was pulled out and tossed on the floor.
Kaylee took very quickly to the bike. She can maneuver forwards and backwards, but has a while until she can sit and let the bike glide before setting her feet back on the ground. Kaylee also knows that she must wear the helmet before she can ride it. Curtis wore his helmet to get Kaylee to wear hers.
Calico Critters is a huge hit. We have it set up in her room. Kaylee says the kids are going to school and when the kids return home, then they need to take a nap.
Jingle the dog was read once we opened it. Jingle (the dog) responds to the reader of the book. Although Jingle didn't like me very much. Apparently, Jingle likes male voices better. Curtis was better at getting the dog to respond.
Kaylee's favorite presents were: kitchen play set, bike & helmet, Calico Critters, Jingle the dog, and her Cowboy jersey, Toy Story bank, Hello Kitty blocks, and Angelina Ballerina.
