37-Weeks

We are in the final 3-weeks. This pregnancy has been very different compared to Kaylee. His movements actually cause me to pause at times because it is so unconfortable. I am always hungry. My body has been slightly uncomfortable for the past 6-months. I'm more swollen, a lot heavier, and I've experienced more of the not so pretty parts of pregnancy than when I was the first time. But, with all that said, I am in no rush to be done with this pregnancy. For one thing, we actually don't feel ready. Even though we've been through this before. We are still facing a lot of unknown factors and it makes us a bit nervous. And second, I want to be sure he has all the time he needs to develop all that good stuff he needs to make it out in the world. I stop myself from thinking "I can't wait", and instead think "I look forward to ...". For instance, I look forward to: running with Kaylee  running with Baylee, riding a bike with Kaylee, drinking regular coffee, moving without my groin protesting, laying of my stomach to read, laying on my back to sleep, holding Kaylee, vacuuming the stairs when I want to (and not need to wait for Curts to get home), lifting weights, being able to show a new exercise to a client instead of relying on my verbal explanation, AND I am mostly looking forward to seeing Kaylee and Jakob meet for the first time.

Kaylee enjoys rubbing and talking to the belly to try to get him to move.
