Feeding Ducks

Today was another great, productive day. We finished numbers 21-30, the color & paste in order activity from yesterday. We then had our friends over, Jenn & the kids. Played, fed ducks, and purchased a laminater for some enrichment loft activities.

The Williams kids are so important in Kaylee's life. They are practically siblings. Today I witnessed Kaylee practice sharing & taking turns, speaking up for herself, making independent decisions, falling and getting back up, running into Austin and getting back up, being upset at Austin for purposely running into her and knocking her over, and then accepting a sincere apology and sharing the sweetest hug afterwards.

And Jenn, or Auntie Jenn, is no bystander in Kaylee's life. She is just as important to Kaylee as she is to me. Auntie Jenn always has the best snacks for Kaylee when Jenn returns home from work, and she is just as happy and excited to see Kaylee as her own kids. Jenn loves Kaylee just as I love Addy & Austin.

We are lucky that they are in our lives & that we can share moments like feeding ducks together.
