A Fun Filled 3-day Weekend

The temperature is warming up, finally, and we had a great weekend enjoying it.

1/19 Saturday - We attempted to hike Iron Mountain with some friends but the warm temp (which I am thrilled about) worked against us. Since the last time I took Kaylee up Iron Mountain I almost froze her (a bit of exaggeration), so this time we bundled up. Which was the wrong choice of clothing. So Kaylee and I turned back way before the summit, returned home, and made a Pinterest inspired water table. We spent hours out in the front yard. Curtis and Kaylee ended the day with a bike ride to the park. A great day which resulted in a 8:30pm bedtime for Miss K, yes!

1/20 Sunday - Sunday was full of football, backyard cleaning and playing, counting to 100, stickers, toilet paper roll heart stamps, light table tracing, prep work for my Team Challenge, and a family bike ride to the park. Bedtime for Miss K, 8:30pm, yes again!

1/21 Monday - Curtis was off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I "slept" in and got ready while Curtis and Kaylee had breakfast. We headed off to the beach and spent 2 great hours at the beach. And another 8:30pm bedtime for Kaylee. I am liking this early to bed, early-ish to rise thing we have going on. Here is to a great week!
