Rock Climbing

Today we celebrated Addy's birthday by rock climbing. Kaylee did great. I was so nervous. And I'm not the one that gets nervous. But the idea of Kaylee trying to climb above me freaked me out. What I I belayed wrong and she falls. I made sure Curtis was right there with me as I belayed Kaylee for the first few attempts.  

Most of Kaylee's attempts were about 8-feet high before she asked to come down.

We set a goal point for her and said we'd reward her with candy. (The people working were encouraging the kids to get to the top with candy). Once Kaylee reached her spot we told her to keep going, and she did.

She made it to the top! We took a food and drink break afterwards. When she went back out she made it to the top of another route twice. And she flew up it!

We had a great time. We learned there was a rock climbing place right near our house. I am hoping we visit soon!
