This beach is the closest and the quickest beach to get to from the house. There is plenty of free parking, especially on the weekdays and off-season. Life guards are present and there are bathrooms with outdoor showers.
The sand is sand castle building approved. The surf is mild especially at low tide, and we find cool oyster shells. There are plenty of sun bathers, walkers, and long boarders. A very family friendly beach. This beach was the first beach Kaylee went to and it is a perfect beach for a quick beach trip or an all day outing.
