Morning routine

It is 8:30 on a Wednesday morning. Kaylee and I have no place to go or schedule to keep today. Days like these allow us to wake-up whenever Kaylee is ready to wake up. First thing on the to-do list is change that diaper! Boy do those diapers hold a lot!! Then we usually turn on the TV to KPBS, our public broadcasting channel. Kaylee doesn't really watch TV, but we'll have it on as she plays. And just for the record, Sesame Street and Dinasaur Train are my favorite shows!! Kaylee does a great job playing by herself in the morning. We'll start in the bedroom and play with all of the toys in there. Next we'll move into the loft so we can feed the cats, Kaylee will continue to play, and I will use the computer (to play time-wasting farmville, check email, or post a new blog). 30-45 minutes after we wake-up is breakfast time (we are approaching that time now!), and that is our morning routine.
