Potty Training Day #6

Two interesting things happened, no three interesting things happened yesterday.  The first thing is Kaylee held her pee for over 5 hours during the day.  We went to our cousin's house and Kaylee did not go at all while there or during her nap afterwards.  Second, I broke down after her nap and let her put on a diaper.  Kaylee was crying and asking for the diaper.  I think she had to go so badly but wanted something familar, like the diaper.  And after she peed she said, "Mommy change diaper.", and wanted another diaper.  And third, she pulled down her undies and peed in the potty twice on her own without any assistance from me (the power of Mickey Mouse got her back in underwear from the diaper earlier).

So an emotional roller coaster of potty training and a huge break through.  Interesting, interesting indeed.

While she had her diaper on I still prompt her on where the potty was etc.  Soon she asked if she can watch Mickey Mouse.  I used Mickey Mouse as an incentive to get her back in her underwear.  I told her she can watch Mickey Mouse if she puts her underwear back on.  And she went to get a pair of underwear.
