Today was our first day at the new swim school, Floaties Swim School in Poway. We changed swim schools because the previous swim school was a 40-minute drive away. And since we are no longer watching Austin it wasn't worth the drive.
We had 2 lessons today. The first lesson was alright, but she shared the lesson with 2 other students who are beginner swimmers. So I inquired if she had any smaller classes. It so happened that her next hour was wide open, no students. So I switched to the 12:15 time slot and took the second lesson right then. And it was worth it. Kaylee and her teacher, Ms. Tina, really got to know each other, she had a whole 30-minute lesson to herself, and she was just overall super positive and excited about her progress. I hope Kaylee has the class to herself for at least a few more times. And when she does get a classmate, it is someone of similar swim experience.
